CUET UG 2024 Result Delayed DU JNU Planning for shorter breaks and weekend classes to manage studies in less time

The National Testing Agency has not yet given any information about when the results of the Common University Entrance Test 2024 will be declared. Meanwhile, for those candidates who had complained of problems in the exam before June 30, NTA is again conducting CUET UG on July 19. In such a situation, it is being speculated that now the results will be released only after July 19 or possibly by the end of July. This will delay admission in universities and colleges.

Semester will start late

The admission process in colleges and universities will start only after the CUET UG results are out and this will also take some time. In such a situation, it is certain that the first semester will start late and teachers will get less time than usual to complete the course. Universities like DU and JNU are making plans to save this time shortage.

what is the plan

According to a report by PTI news agency, Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University are planning to hold classes on weekends and give fewer winter breaks this year. This will give students and teachers some extra time in which they can complete the course.

Extra classes will be needed

University officials believe that due to late results, the new semester will start late. In such a situation, extra classes may have to be conducted to cover the loss of studies. It is possible that the week may be of 6 days instead of 5 days and classes may be conducted on Saturdays as well. Along with this, the winter break can also be shortened to finish the syllabus.

This university is also planning

Apart from DU and JNU, Ambedkar University is also planning to take extra classes. They intend to reduce holidays and cover the delay with the help of weekend and evening classes. This will be done so that the syllabus can be covered.

when does the new session start

Usually, the new session for first class students starts from 1st August. If the results are not declared in the next one and a half to two weeks, then this will not be possible. Universities are making plans to cover this loss. From evening classes to shorter winter breaks and classes on weekends, every method will be adopted to compensate for this loss.
